Computer Center
The Library has a computer center where 6 computers with internet access are available for public use and 1 reference computer in the reference area. The new T1 access line to Pioneer Internet makes internet access faster than ever before. A color laser printer is used in the computer center and the charge is only 10 cents per page for text prints and 15 cents for color picture prints. A signed permission slip is required before children may use the computer center.
Email is one of the most popular uses for the Internet, and there are a number of free Email services available. Your librarian can help you get started using Email.
Card Catalog computer
A computer dedicated to our current inventory of materials. You may search our collection by author, title, subject, key words, etc.
FAX Machine
A FAX machine is available once again for public use. The cost it $1.50 for the first page, and $.50 for each page thereafter.
Copy Machine
A copy machine is available for public use. Copies are 25 cents per page.
Tax Forms
The library has Internet access to IRS and Oklahoma tax forms. Patrons can obtain laser-printed copies of downloaded forms for ten cents per page printed.
Book Drop
A book drop is available for use when the library is closed.
Inter-Library Loan Program
If you need a specialized book or periodical, the Buffalo Public Library is equipped to do a search of libraries in the State of Oklahoma, and to then order the particular book you need. The program does require that you pay the postage for the books you order. Books usually arrive within a few days.
